About Me

programming, running, anime, playing music, religion, philosophy, old games, finance, [limited] auto maintenance, gardening, politics, sleep

That's a pretty fair start, I think.

I first joined onto the internet with Nick.com, actually. Dial-up, had to ask to tie up the phone lines. I had forgotten that the original message boards allowed for marquee signatures. Folks were quite creative. From there, Neopets, making very simple HTML pages via copy and paste, autoplay MP3 files and the like. When NeoCash was implemented, I joined the very small and inconsequential protest and flocked to The Casual Collective, which you cannot find really anywhere anymore. (I guess you can get a pretty good impression of it here.) Then some similarly minded folks ended up playing a somewhat popular flash game, and I had the privilege of many hours of free time as a young person to watch the development of that game and its community.

As for the real world, I guess I've taken an interest in coding, went to college, met a gal, took up anime-watching, got sucked into picking a political mindset, took some philosophy courses... it's not likely that I'll have much of interest to share with the world. Indeed, looking at other sites on Neocities (for starters), I can't imagine I'll have any content nearly so arresting. But, I've always wanted to have a blog and here you are!

I can't resist, so here are some other ideas that I might write about someday, though who can say
