I think this could be a fun place to put things I've seen, or something. I see other folks doing it, seems fun.
The start felt slow, then by the end things were screaming past me so fast I had no clue... probably need a rewatch or someone to painfully explain it to me
hmm
sad, have probably watched this like four times. early anime for me
I'm a sucker for romances
quite funny, iirc
I love the feeling of summer this gives, plus the sort of cyber-warfare though portrayed in a silly manner
spooky
wow, on the edge of my seat, like the whole time
edgy. I had a time where anime meant pushing that edginess boundary. If there's a deeper point to this show, I don't know what it is.
sweary and edgy -- this is also from that edginess pushing time. Still don't know the meaning if there is one, but it's a good time lol
such suffering, very compelling show
I think I'm a sucker for "guy thinks really hard and things just happen" kinds of shows? Though Death Note, I quit halfway through after spoiling by watching the last episode lol
scary, that's really it. Also a bit confusing at times
hmm
only anime we ever watched as young'ns, and that was a good time. Goes all over and I remember nothing?
I love all the tech, the questions, the philosophy, and also I have a lot of reading to do
:(
now I want to go hunting for rocks. Any suggestions? we don't have right-to-roam IIRC... which is a bummer?
hmm
have read a fair few from Ehrman, and the historical critical conversation is such an under-discussed concept. You go to church and hear it's one voice, one meaning, one story, internally cohesive. And yet, there are shortcomings still. This book is not about that specifically.
did I mention I like romances
more edginess?
quite topical, I imagine
folks say it's a good book. SO far, it sounds bleak
Can't remember this show, but it sticks in my soul
hmm
Might have a point, but one piece is absolute BS -- early in the book, the author relates a man who has had trouble falling asleep for decades because he's worried he won't wake up. Well, we find out (with him, present day) that his uncle froze to death 30 years ago... so like, you're to believe that this is super duper potent enough that somehow someone he cannot be genetically related to, and had no knowledge of at all, was "encoded"(?) by actions that his family took while raising him... seems like malarkey to me.
